Wait... Is this really compatible with all major operating systems?
If you have trouble, reach me bro. Do another comment
Okay, just downloaded it. It's an exe, which means that without an emulator it's not compatible with MacOS or Linux. Good thing I have an emulator.
It'd probably be a good idea to re-label it to only Windows, because otherwise somebody who uses one of the other ones is going to be really disappointed.
I'll let you know what I think of the gameplay when I get around to it. Looks cool from the screenshots though!
Thanks for your information. I thought I got universal build. Anyway, Let me know what you think of it as soon as you can! Have a great time.
Okay, I got it running. I can send you the Mac x64 port if you want it. Impressive animations, great use of color, but I do have a few criticisms. If you intend to update, I'd love to see some of these in a sequel/spinoff.
First, the menu screen could use some animation. The buttons feel kind of flat.
Also, instead of two punch animations, Maybe make the heavy attack a kick? It would make the player feel more athletic and better differenciate the attacks
Combos are fun, but not needed to make a good fighting game. Charge attacks add a lot of depth, and power-ups make strategy far more interesting.
I've never made a complex fighting game before, but as a fellow dev I can appreciate the effort that went the rigging, animation and post-processing. Overall, great job! I'd totally use this as a screensaver if I could.
Thanks dude, i am actually very flattered that you liked it and went for all the effort for porting. Would like to talk more about this game with you. I am currently working on diffrent game, but i think i can take some time in this summer to improve points you mentioned. If you wish to chat sometime, i would be very happy to discuss about your other experiences as dev. If you wish to add me on discord: thedoctorhelix.
